This wine made from 100% chardonnay grapes comes from a Domaine that was founded in 2006. It consists of some of the vineyards from the old Domaine Bernard Morey in Puligny Montrachet. The grapes come from 4 select parcels in the Cote d’Or. 1 in Puligny Montrachet, 1 in Chassagne Montrachet, and 2 in Santenay. Nice pedigree for Bourgogne Blanc. The wine is aged in 50% oak barrels and 50% Stainless steel. There is a great, fresh, almost mineral component that leads to just a touch of spicey oak. Lighter to medium body and dry on the finish. This chardonnay is great for light bites on the patio or a meal of lightly sauteed or baked seafoood. A Votre Sante.
