    Txomin Etxaniz Txakolina Rosè

    Basque, Spain ($19.99)

"Txakolina (Chock-oh-leen-ah) is. My. Jam. New Orleans is actually the number one market in the world for this juice, which has become known on the street as 'the Baby Jesus Wine'. It makes sense that we New Orleanians would drink this like water, since it has crisp, almost bubbly acidity, so it's crazy refreshing, and a light fresh fruitiness. It pairs beautifully with seafood, and is one of my favorite porch-sippers. For the full experience, be sure to practice your 'Basque pour', a method that I have tested and approved." (750ML)

    Matthieu Barret Petit Ours Brun

    Cotes du Rhone, France ($24.99)

"Matthieu Barret is a rockstar in the Cornas region of Northern Rhone, a region known for producing 100% Syrah with a unique olive aroma and rich, dark berry flavors. This guy makes one of my favorite wines for about $100 a bottle, and his much more affordable Petit Ours Brun is a gift from the wine gods! Tastes like a baby Cornas, and we have it at a ridiculously low price." (750ML)

    Domaine Pierre Morey Aligotè

    Burgundy, France ($18.99)

"Aligoté: the other white grape! The little sister of Chardonnay, this typically un-oaked, zesty little number is super tasty with salads and seafood, with a bright pear flavor and zippy minerality. It's pretty hard to find, too, as they don't grow very much of it in Burgundy, so get it while you can!" (750ML)

    Folk Machine The Small Hours

    Potter Valley, California ($26.99)

    Pinot Noir

"Listed among Forbes 'Coolest Wine Labels of 2017' (Forbes, aka the leading authority on what's 'cool' since 1917), the Small Hours Pinot is a gem. The winemaker, Kenny Likitprakong, is as unorthodox as his wine, having all the experience of a seasoned winemaker and the creative mentality of a pro-skateboarder. The Folk Machine wines by Hobo Wine Co. are produced on a very small scale, the philosophy of the winemaking being a tip of the hat to the romanticized hobo culture of yesteryear: every day a new adventure. The Pinot itself has silky smooth flavors of rich raspberries and dark cherries with hints of espresso weaving through fine tannins." (750ML)

    Bonny Doon Picpoul de Pinet

    Arroyo Seco, CA ($16.99)

"Bonny Doon is killin' it with this Picpoul! A little salinity and honeycomb on the nose, light white peach flavors on the palate, and super zippy, refreshing acidity. This wine is begging to be paired with briny oysters." (750ML)

Hedges Family Estate Sauvignon Blanc CMS

    Washington ($13.99)

    Sauvignon Blanc

"A delicious Sauvignon Blanc from Washington state, it has rich white stone fruit flavors and a bit of meyer lemon to round it out on the finish. Pair this puppy with a tangy goat cheese and strawberry salad for a light summery snack." (750ML)
