12 Days of Martin’s – Day 4 – 4 Aged Rums

On the 4th day of Martin’s my true love gave to me…FOUR Aged Rums, Three French Roses, Two Cabernets and a Parmesan we bought from Italy!

Our Spirit Expert recommends these four aged rums to enjoy at any of your holiday gatherings:

Appleton Estate Rare Blend Rum Aged 12 yrs (Jamaica)

Possesses a dark amber hue with notes of banana flambe, cinnamon sticks, and melted chocolate. Dark chocolate also shows on the palate,
along with a hit of molasses and sweet vanilla oak. A lovely, sumptuous benchmark rum.

Diplomatico Reserva Exclusive Rum Aged 12 yrs (Venezuela)

Fantastic and robust aromas of vanilla, almond toffee, cloves, baked apricot, and cigar smoke. Subtle scents of orange zest are also detected.
In the mount, it’s rich and honeyed with brown sugar, baked apricot, and fresh cinnamon. A long, intensely sweet and elegant finish.

Flor de Cana Centenario Rum Aged 12 yrs (Nicaragua)

Stately and semi-sweet, nougat, almond butter, molasses and sherry abound. Finishes with peppery spice, dark caramel, and hints of charred oak.

Plantation 20th Anniversary Rum (Barbados)

Stunning floral and fruity aroma with whiffs of vanilla, cacao, and milk chocolate. Entry is cinnamon like and gently sweet.
Holiday spice cake, rum flavored chocolates and sugar cookies at mid palate. The finish is medium long, delicate, and only mildly sweet.
